This Tip Tuesday will work for any busy day, week or month! It's a practical nutrition tip especially beneficial during back-to-school time for you as well as for your kids.

I'm a big fan of packing non-perishable food items- things like jerky, rice cakes, dried fruit, or nuts all can be thrown into backpacks, bags, and cars. This way you can have nutritious snacks on hand, so that no matter where you are, and no matter how crazy your day is, you will have something readily available that's healthy and supports your goals.

Especially when hunger strikes, don't let yourself get stuck with the usual options of fast food or junk food, keep a nutrition rich snack so on hand so that way you're never in a tough spot!
